This qualification is for learners who are qualified doctors, dentists, nurse prescribers, plastic surgeons, consultants, beauty / dental therapists, etc.
A variety of organisations provided EduQual with written support for these qualifications, including, but not limited to the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners and Cosmetic Courses Cosmetic Courses, an award-winning UK provider of aesthetic training programmes.
The Content, Learning Outcomes and Performance Criteria in this qualification reflect the Standards to enter the JCCP Education and Training Providers Register and the Competency Framework for Cosmetic Practice (2018).
SkillsActive is recognised by the UK government as the independent, employer-led Sector Skills Council for Active Leisure, Learning and Well-Being and has developed National Occupational Standards relating to Beauty Aesthetics (March 2019) and Non-Surgical Cosmetic Procedures (March 2020) to which this EduQual qualification has been mapped.
